When we make new friends...we tend to keep them a distance away from us... We dont trust them that easily and often wear a mask, pretending to be very friendly (when you know in ur heart that ur're feeling uneasy when alone with them) Who knows? Maybe they are also trying hard to entertain because they have no choice since we're being 'friendly' too... Without trust, there can be no understanding. Without understanding, there can be no room for tolerance, and without tolerance, there can be no room for communication, thats how misunderstandings occur..am i right? I really dunno what am i talking about..lol..
Anyway, i guess it's really nice when we have someone giving us a pat on the shoulder during bad times..especially during our monday blues...and it can be really surprising to know when the pat comes from an acquaintance or someone whom we dont really know...but is there for us when we needed someone to be there, to listen..
It takes a long time to build Trust between friends, family and love ones... But...it takes just a few seconds to break it..
It is nice to know that people misses you... =) Got a msg from one of the colleague telling me she misses me... Eventhough it's not a big issue, but it definitely helped to cheer me up when i was waiting to see a doc at the polyclinic. The weather today wasn't that good (the sky and clouds cried so hard today till i was almost drowned by the tears...lol) Had to call for a cab at Woodlands polyclinic to get back home eventhough the mrt station was just directly opposite the clinic. -.- (there goes my $2.50..lol...) Anyway that's not the main thing.
I went to the clinic at 12.30 and left at 4.30... 4 hours of waiting and i got scolded by the doctor... Everyone who went to the clinic were question abt their health status, weather they are having flu, cough and fever. The normal symptons of H1N1.. I obviously didnt have any of those naughty germs in me thats why i replied 'no' to the security officer. They gave me a sticker and allowed me to go to the registration counter. After some time i began to cough unknowingly cuz i was too engrossed in reading my mag... I read as i waited and those who know my habits of reading magazines...i take a few hours to finish...Obviously my number wasn't called when i finished reading the mag..i could only sit there and wait like a dumbo..then did i realise i was coughing... Soon enough my number was called, i told the darn doc i was actually having diahrrea and SLIGHT dry cough..
That darn doc scolded me for not informing the security about my cough. But the funny fact is i really DIDN'T have ANY symptons of cough when i stepped my foot into the clinic...! I didnt explain much to him because he kept nagging and scolding...WTF.. The worst thing is, he said: What if YOU passed the grems to my OTHER patients outside? Do you know how SELFISH you are??? In my mind i was thinking...so i'm not a patient there..i'm a VISITOR who spreads germs to the other patients who ALREADY has germs in them!!! So who's the patient now if they were the ones who spread the cough to me??? I really find it a waste of my time and money going to the clinic. I say again. It's not that i don wanna admit that i have cough and it's not that i don wanna explain and make myself clear. But i just find it abit weird to tell that darn doc that i only started to cough after going into the clinic... If you were in my shoes...what would you do???
